Focus Youth Photography Classes

Photography is more than just F-stops and exposure - it is also a way of focusing on the good and beautiful things in life. We want to provide teens with something positive to focus on in the midst of the busyness and bad news that seems to bombard us every day. In a teamwork style, our Focus photography lessons will encourage the student to learn both the art of photography and the art of focusing on beauty, love and truth.

We will meet up in Captured's photography studio at 713 Ashman St. on Mondays from 4:00 to 5:30 pm, for a seven week block. At the end of the course students will print out a final piece and display it in Live Oak Coffeehouse for sale over the following month. This class is open to all junior high and high school students, but space is limited.

Please bring your camera and your questions. All cameras welcome, even iPhones! Students are welcome to repeat the course multiple times! Discounts available for returning students, please contact us.

Minimalist Minis

These sessions are 20-30 minutes in length: perfect for families with small kids and short attention spans. A maximum number of six people can be booked for one time slot. Minimum order is $250.
